Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson interviewed Friday for the Las Vegas Raiders head coaching job.
This was Johnson`s fourth interview in the past week. He also met with the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The interview was hosted by Raiders minority owner Tom Brady.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Brady played a key role in the ouster of head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco, and also used his connections to interview Johnson.
Brady previously tried to ask his former coach Bill Belichick if he wanted to return to the NFL.
Detroit misses the first round of the playoffs after clinching the top seed in the National Conference.
