In the future, UEFA may ban Juventus from European competition.


A few days ago, Juventus were deducted 15 points in Serie A due to a case of fictitious capital gains.


According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, UEFA may suspend Juventus from European competition for unsportsmanlike behavior related to another area of the case regarding the club`s financial irregularities - fraud in the payment of salaries. If such violations are proven, UEFA will study the situation taking into account the club`s new financial indicators.


In 2021, Juventus was fined 3. 5 million euros for non-compliance with financial fair play rules. The fine will increase to 23 million euros if it is proven in the next three years that Juve committed further financial violations. Depending on the amount of losses, Juventus could also be punished with a ban from European competition for more than a season.


The possible ban will only apply if Juventus enters the European competition. If the club analyzed by football livescore does not finish in the top 7 of Serie A this season, the punishment will only begin when Juve returns to Europe.
