Today, Barcelona`s official budget for the current season 2017/18 has been officially approved, and it overcame any record. It`s about 897 million euros. It was voted at today`s General Assembly of the Catalonian Club. The votes for the draft budget were 391, 68 were against, and 49 abstained. Historical figures come after a very strong revenue season - EUR 708 million. The Executive Director of the Blue-Red Oscar Grau presented the numbers to the public. He revealed that if Neymar was not sold in the summer, budget estimates 2017/18 were for 795m euros. The funds raised by the Brazilian transfer have pumped the new budget.




Due to its sale, it is predicted that the Catalan Club will make a profit for the seventh consecutive year - this time worth 21m euros.
